Dr. Liliana Mereu graduated and specialized at the University of Pavia. After having worked for three years at the Department of Obstetrics and Ginecology Sacred Heart Hospital of Negrar and moved to Florence, where 4 years has been responsible of the Unit of Gynecology at the Centro Oncologico Fiorentino. She currently works as a senior physician at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital Santa Chiara of Trento with the responsability of gynaecologic department and minimal invasive surgery. In recent years she has focused his activities on minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy, single access , robotics , hysteroscopy) thanks to the attendance at national and international institutes : IRCAD - EITS (European Institute of Tele Surgery ) Strasbourg, IGR (Institute Gustave Roussy ) Villejuif- Paris FRANCE , Policlinico Gemelli Catholic University in Rome, Northwestern University, Chicago. She has performed more than 2500 surgical interventions laparotomy, vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic. The high level achieved is evidenced by the numerous appearances of Dr Mereu into national and international conferences where she was to invited to perform modern minimally invasive surgery . She partecipated in numerous multicenter trials in oncology endometriosis and minimally invasive surgery . She is PhD in Biotechnology in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Siena and she obtained the abilitation for Professor. In recent years, has been dedicated to teaching the techniques of minimally invasive surgery at national and international institutes and schools of high qualification . She is author of more than 100 publications (book chapters, articles, videos, case reports , reviews, abstracts ) in peer reviewed journals. She has been personally invited as a speaker at more than 150 national and international congresses and she has been involved in the Board of Italian and European scientific societies as ESGE, SERGS, EGS, FOGSI, SEGI, SICMIG


Hanan Elzeblawy Hassan , Associate professor, Editor Profiles

Dr Hanan Elzeblawy Hassan has received her PhD in Maternity& Newborn Health Nursing during the period of 2012. Head of Maternity & Newborn Health Nursing (Obstetrics & gynecology) department; Faculty of Nursing; Beni-Suef University. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities. Her research has included Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Quality of Life research, Nursing Education, Nursing science, Midwifery, Psychology. Theodora Papamitsou , Associate Professor, Editor Profiles

Dr Theodora Papamitsou is Associate Professor in the Laboratory of Histology-Embryology, Department of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is director and scientific coordinator of the Postgraduate Program entitled “Health and Environmental Factors”. She is supervisor of 5 PhD students with PhDs’ subjects relative to Histology and Embryology. Her scientific work is proven by 40 publications in International and Greek Journals, 50 abstracts in International Journals, 2 honored presentations in International Conferences, as well as the writing of 5 chapters in teaching books. Regarding her awards/honors, she has two cohorts with “Honors” in Scientific Conferences, an honor from the Dean of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki’s Faculty of Medicine for her teaching in Medical School during 2014-2015 and 2015-2016, a Gratidude letter from Professor of Oral Medicine Kolokotronis Alexandros for her lessons about Biology of Bone Osteogenesis in Postgraduate Dentistry students, as well as an honor from the Greek Association of Biomedical Laboratory Science for her scientific contribution and her academic carreer. She has participated in the following Research Programmes: 1) “Immunohistochemical investigation of abortion material from women with recurrent miscarriage” funded by Greek Ministry of Heath, 2) ”Diabetes Mellitus and Alzheimer Disease” funded from European Union (Programme: Archimedes III) in cooperation with Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, and 3) ”Immunohistochemical identification of TNF-a, PPAR?/? and PPAR-? in abortion material” funded from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as Scientific Leader. She is a reviewer in the following scientific journals: Global Journal of Rare Diseases, Global Research in Gynecology and Obstetrics, International Journal of Case Reports & Short Reviews, Journal of Reproductive Medicine, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Open Scientific Journal of Surgery, Trends in Computer Science and Information Technology, International Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, Cell Journal, as well as Journal of Anesthesia and Surgical Reports.
